The Tübingen district president Hermann Strampfer attended a comprehensive information meeting on 23 June 2009 in Gammertingen. While inspecting the area the district president also asked questions at the new waterworks construction site.
The public services for energy and water supply in Gammerting invests in a future oriented purification plant with a purification capacity of 120 m³/h. The public services for energy and water supply in Gammerting provides more than 10,000 inhabitants in the townships of Gammertingen and Trochtelfingen with drinking water. In addition, drinking water is also purified for the community of Neufra by means of an interconnected solution. The net investment costs of the waterworks amount to 3,250,000 EUR.
