Drinking water for two communities

A "model example of intercommunal cooperation:" The joint waterworks "Bühl" has commenced operations.

Almost one year has past since the topping-out ceremony. But now it is operating - the intercommunal waterworks "Bühl" in the township Staufen and the community of Muenstertal located on the northern slope above the district of Krumlinden. A continuous supply of water is ensured for both municipalities - drinking water that fulfills the highest standards of quality. The mayors Rüdiger Ahlers and Michael Benitz were just as pleased as the planers, the engineers, the district water master, the consulting firms, the city and the district councils about the way the structure harmonizes with nature in the Bühl landscape.
